Jacob Jeffery Shaffer Graduates from Thiel College

Jacob Jeffery Shaffer of Hermitage, Pa., graduated from Thiel College in Greenville, Pa., during the Commencement Ceremony held on Sunday, May 6, 2012, in Thiel's William A. Passavant Center.

A member of the Thiel Honors Program, Shaffer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics .

Students who received the honor of Summa Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.8 - 4.0; students who received the honor of Magna Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.60-3.79; and students who received the honor of Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.4-3.59. Dean's Key is awarded to those students who were on the Dean's List for all eight semesters while at Thiel.
